I'm from England and yes I do remember Lacy J Dalton in my opinion she is one of the greatest singer song writers we have had, trouble is she has been underrated, I have been a fan myself for over 20 years, her lovely husky voice is so full of feeling. With songs like Slow moving outlaw, Crazy blue eye's, black coffee,Wild turkey like you,Are there any cowboys left in the good Ole USA, Everybody makes mistakes, Hillbilly girl with the blue's, oh I could go on for ages, she is one brilliant woman.

Lacy J. Dalton (born Jill Byrem in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, 1948) is an American country and western singer and songwriter, known for her gritty, powerful vocals. She had a number of hits in the late 1970s and '80s, including "Takin' It Easy" "Crazy Blue Eyes" and "Sixteenth Avenue." Though absent from the U.S. country charts since the late 1980s, she still continues to record and perform, having most recently released an album, The Last Wild Place in 2004

Absolutely! Loved her! Came across as a real honky tonk urban country gal. I'm pretty sure she's still alive but sort of gone into obscurity! Why?
