Im in dance and i think i stretched too hard to get down on my left side splits and now its sooo sore or something and i cant make it down any more. its been like this for weeks. how long will it take to go away? should i continue stretching it or avoid stretching it? any tricks to make it go away? thanks :)

i think you will have to rest it for a short while and use a heating pad for 15 min at a time, you could have a massage on that leg , you might go to a doctor and the doctor might send you to physical therapy. You know stretching isn't helping . You should go to a doctor since it isn't going away. I know that injury hurts .i got clobbered playing football and it took weeks and i wasn't in as good a shape as you are, dancers kick butt with what you do.
