you need to come to an agreement on what your responsibilities are and what the other person's is. If they can't follow that & or contribute to the expenses, they need to find another place to stay.

Definitely if he's not contributing financially, get rid of him. He's just along for the free ride. And if you ever plan on getting married and having a family someday, do you really want to support him the rest of your lives? Get rid of him. He sounds very selfish. That's not a "partner" of "live-in" at all.

You should ask him if he were not living with you, where could he live for free?????NOWHERE in this world can one live for free!!!!!! Explain to him/her that bills are not free and two people living in one house is double the expense of one person living in a household. If he/she still won't help with the expenses, give him/her a cardboard box and let him experience FREE living!!!!!!!!!

Is their name on the lease? If they have no legal claim on the property and it is yours alone, you can serve them notice that they must move by a certain date , or have them evicted if they don't leave. You will have to have them legally served and a sheriff will help you to remove them. Then change the locks.

leave him/her and let him/ her live alone....you're not his/her parent or nanny to take care of him/her and find ways to let him/her be alive....he/she might not love you and uses you (maybe)...he/she might not know how to do household chores or work to share with household expenses with you...

kick them out, if you don't have previous arrangements about how you will live together. Get married then they will fill that they have to contribute,

if they want to now, then they could just pick up and leave without any care!

good luck!

Tell your partner to take his things and move out. You would not be on here with this question if it didn't bother you this much.

Well I guess if you like being used, nothing.
Otherwise unless you reeeaallllly like this person you might as well be by yourself, it would be cheaper and less work.
