Early in pregnancy did anyone feel like they had butterflies in their stomach?

If so, where abouts in your cycle? I am due tomorrow, have tender breasts that keep getting worse by the second and a weird butterfly feeling.

I've just heard that people get that feeling before they even know they're pregnant...it's their uterus contracting/getting ready for the baby. I just wanted to know if anyone experienced that...or if it's a myth

Yes they say that's the movement of the baby.

I didn't feel them until just last week and I'm 17 weeks and 5 days along.
EDIT(after you added more info):
You would not be feeling the baby move yet. You haven't even missed your period yet, you don't know if you're pregnant or not. It's probably just gas causing that feeling now.

If you have not even missed your period yet, you are not feeling a baby move. Sorry to rain on your parade. That doesn't mean you are not pregnant, it just means that it is not possible for a baby that is not more than an embryo to move enough for you to feel it.

Before my son was born my wife said the same thing. The doctor said he had the hiccups.

depending on how far along you are, you could be feeling the baby move! if youre not that big, then its probably just gas :(

My wife did. We think it was mini baby kicking.
