I own a wii! i do want a PS3 for heavenly sword. Wii is cheaper so good thing to go with.

Personally, I have a wii, I like some of the games on the ps3, but, since I run the electronics department in my store, I can tell you, for every ps3 I sell, I sell about 15-20 wii's. I have ps3 just sitting on the shelves. The ps3 is a better gaming rig, but in order to really experience that, you have to have a high def tv. We used a standard def channel on the display once to see how it would look and it's no better than the graphics on the ps2 to be honest. Also, blu-ray is great, assuming it wins the format wars, and assuming you have a high def tv, cause if you don't it's not really useful. So all in all, the wii seems to be more popular in our area with guys, girls, and kids, but the ps3 has it's advantages.

I own a ps3 and a wii. I like the wii better because when I have a bunch of friends over at the house and we start drinking the wii is more interactive with groups to play with.
But it all depends on what kinda guy you are.

I am a guy and i have a Nintendo Wii, and i have 4 or 5 friends with Wiis, and more that are going to buy them, and one friend with a PS3 that he barely plays\

I would say that depends on what he is into. If he is a pro gamer i would go with the ps3 but if he wants games that he could play with you or a game that you can just pick up and play go with the wii. I own a wii and i love it but I will not say the ps3 is a bad system becasue it is not.

Guys don't agree on everything. You are asking us what one person's personal tastes are, and we don't know them.
I, as a guy who's been into gaming for 20 years, prefers the Wii, as the 360 and PS3 aren't any different than the game ssystems of 10 years ago, with a new coat of paint.
Others look at the so far thin selection of hyper-violent games on the Wii and consider it "kiddie". I think this is foolish, as this suggests the quality of entertainment is based purely on the violence level it contains.

I would say the PS3. First of all, the games for the Wii look like games you would see on either the PS2, Xbox or Gamecube. Secondly, the PS3 is the most powerful game system on the market and has a built in blu ray dvd player.Third, while neither system has a huge library of games yet, the PS3 has better games and better games coming.

I just asked my boyfriend for you and he says absolutely Wii. I'm not sure if you're asking because you want to find a gift for someone, but he's 21 and says Wii is way better. Hope that helps!

well i would say the wii but i because it cost less and Nintendo always changes the game i mean they where first to make the analog stick and more so i would say wii but any true gamer should have wii and an xbox 360 or pc or all three.
