Not so sure I know what you mean, but it depends on your views of life. Most people try varieties of things before they decide to settle down and live with that one thing. It really depends on your advantages and disadvantages. Personally, I do not believe there is ever a fast lane in life, especially being a student, you should always press to win, it makes you feel good about yourself and if you push towards what makes you happy, that generally is the good life.

You're going to have to specify what "the good life" is. There is not easy answer to this anyway. If there were, everyone would do it, obviously. If you like money, and there is more to life than the aquisition of money, then you're going to have to work hard. There are a few people who are rich without much work, but they are rare. Generally the recipe is lots and lots of hard work and saving money. You can't become wealthy by spending money. Perhaps learning that materialism and hedonism aren't long-term recipes for happiness would also help. good luck.

Since this question is in the higher education category, I'm assuming you're willing to prepare and educate yourself so that you can acquire what you want. If this is true, you can't study something you hate or work in a field you hate. I suggest you log on to assessment.com and take with MAPP assessment. It will help you identify your interests and abilities and match you up to 900 possible careers. It costs about 30 bucks and takes about a half hour to take the assessment.

Honestly, if youre not born rich, the chances of you becoming rich are verrrrrry slim. Upward movement in our society is meant to be hard, after all, if we were all rich who would control us? go to college, get a masters, maybe a Ph D or marry a rich guy
