Why? Great question best left to God. Don't they have prostates? They do, of a sorts.
Women have in their urethras a tiny organ known as Skene's gland, named after Alexander Skene, a Scottish gynecologist, for whom is erected a statue in Brooklyn's Prospect Park. This gland, amazingly, produces prostate-specific antigen (PSA), a most erroneously named protein. From a clinical perspective, the nonspecificity of PSA is relevant, in that male non-prostatic organs such as the glands of Littre and glands of Morgagni also make it. These non-prostatic male PSA sources can wreak havoc on the unsuspecting prostate cancer patient. Big Time!!!
So, ladies have a Skene's gland, which is very similar to the prostate, except it rarely causes problems. As to whether it is a source of female ejaculate? There is good suggestive evidence, but that is for another day.

All male parts have a female analog. So the female equivalent of the penis is the clitoris,etc. So the female does have an analog to the prostate, and it is called the Skenes gland

the prostate produces part of the seminal fluid. since women do not produce semen, they do not have use for a prostate.
