Not a question guys. I am so excited I just wanted to share my news. I had no idea that at 10 weeks a baby so tiny could do somersaults in my stomach! I was so amazed I kept laughing and it touched my heart. It was way better than what I thought it was going to be. Ok, I changed my mind about the question, did anyone feel such joy and amazement at how active your baby can be at such an early stage?

Funny how a lot of you said that it started feeling real. My fiance and I decided that the pregnancy became officially real right at that moment. For reason we couldn't believe we were pregnant. Congrats to you all too!

It's definately an emotional time. You know you have a life inside you but you just don't feel it move. Then you see that little tiny life on the screen moving and reacting, it's very exciting. I have a high risk pregnancy because I delivered my son extremely early so I had an ultrasound at about 11 weeks to prepare for a cerclage and even after seeing my son's ultrasound I was still excited and went home talking about everything I seen the baby do on the screen. I just recently had another routine ultrasound done at 20 weeks and after being able to feel the baby move for several weeks now it's still amazing at everything a tiny baby can do. It was even more thrilling to have the techniction tell us it was a little girl. We were able to see her waving her arms, turning summersalts, and we even caught a glimpse of her sucking her thumb.

Definitely! My son was all over the place. I got to see his heart beat when I was barely 6 weeks. It was amazing. After I got the 3D ultrasound done, I went back and looked at my 6 week u/s pic compared to the new ones and I was so amazed. People just don't think about babies being such a miraculous thing. I felt my son kick for the first time when I was just 16 weeks. It sort of feels like butterflies in your stomach. It is an amazing feeling. I so miss being pregnant. During that time, they are all yours and you don't have to share. You can be selfish and keep them all to yourself. Then, once they have arrived, you do have to share them with the world. :( I hope you have a wonderful pregnancy. Enjoy it.... time will fly by faster than you think. :)

Congratulations! I know, it's exciting isn't it? I didn't get to see much of the movement because the ultrasound tech only had one screen and she was using it, but my hubby did. :) He was positively giddy, he said the little person was jumping around like crazy, doing somersaults and such. The poor tech was having a hard time getting the measurements she needed, but she managed.

Yes it's amazing isn't it. I just had an ultasound yesterday to make sure that everything was ok in there (after having a brown discharge for a few days) and the baby was waving at us, and I'm only 8 1/2 weeks.

At 8 weeks my baby was moving a lot, it was so neat to see, and made it much more real. Wait until you get the scan at 16-20 weeks , it's unbelievable!
