I once read about a scientist team in Britain working with the government that were testing the live cartilage of old patients who had severe arthritis and they found evidence of Salmonella. So they treated the patients with a common Salmonella cure via syringe directly into the cartilage and the patients got better.
Strange as it sounds the tests and results were hushed up and taken away by a pharmacy group not long after that and never heard of again but I'm sure the record is still in the old magazine archives. I know it sounds crazy to believe but it was only a magazine article anyway. It might not have worked after all.
As for now most people are taking drugs such as Glucosamine and Choindroitin as well as other supplements or pain relief medication to treat the issue. Which altogether seems medieval in technique if you think of how long the problem has been around. Think in the millions of years.

There is no cure for arthritis but there are many things a person can do to reduce the symptoms to a point of feeling like the arthritis is gone.
I take a supplement that gave me such incredible results that after about a year I was so encouraged that I decided to make improvements in other areas of my life to improve overall health and maintain this pain free state for life.

I have never heard of any herbs that could help. But I do know of other remedies. The first to consider is to take Glucosamine (not sure I spelled that properly)
It helps to rebuild the cartilage and tissues in the joints.
Also, a lot of people find that wearing copper helps reduce the pain and inflammation. The same can be said for some magnet therapies. It works on the premise that it helps increase the energy flow in your body. When your energy flows better, it helps relieve pain, improve circulation, reduce inflammation and so on.
On that same theory you would likely experience some relief it you went to regular energy based therapy sessions such as Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, or acupuncture. Stay away from things that are too forceful on your body - like deep tissue massage for example.
I would also recommend speaking with a naturalpathic doctor as there may be changes in your diet that could greatly help your situation.
Hope that helped. :)

I have arthritis in my back, neck and legs. Exercise, particularly stretching and strengthening, is the only way I have found to deal with it. It is essential to find a good physiotherapist who can provide you with advice. Or you could just take Chris's advice.

If they had one, it would be worth a huge fortune. However a good friend who has had severe arthritis his whole life uses alfalfa capsules. He says that it makes his arthritis bearable and his wife says he was much worse before he began this regimen. He takes 12-15 capsules per day.

Best bet for you is adopt naturopathic lifestyle and treatments.
You must go to a resort and do it, please do not try it at home
on your own unless you have a very strong will power because
it involves fasting, hydrotheraphy, oil massage and living on
natural foods i.e. citrus fruits for breakfast, salads and
sprouts for lunch and sweet fruits for supper. This regime will
overhaul the inside of you making you more strong and
flexible. It works but it takes time depending on your
individual muck that you have accumulated over the years.
If you feel this is beyond you visit site called
www.fruitarian.com and read thoroughly on how to be a
fruitarian which you can do it on your own.
Best of luck and god bless. Cheers! :o)
