My Narnia Books or my old fairy tale book that I had since I was a little girl. that has all of the famous fairy tales like Hansel and Gretal, Peter Pan, Ali Babbah and the Forty thieves, Cinderella, The 3 little Pigs, and Thumblina.

The Riverside Chaucer (I'm a bit of a medieval lit geek). Out of modern books I'd have to say anything by Diana Gabaldon, Jim Butcher or Laurell K. Hamilton.
