Met at the bar.

You struck me as handsome,
I struck you as easy.

I loved you for love,
You loved me for sex.

I had you for hope,
You had me for ownership.

I interfered with business,
You interfered with marriages,

I found you guilty,
You found me dumb.

I saw denial,
While you saw her,

I guessed it wouldn’t last long,
You proved me wrong.
