Finance and Accounting are the two areas with the greatest demand. Most of the top programs do not offer specialties. Graduates get a general MBA.

But if you get an MBA from a top 15 school -- then you should be able to go into any field of business that you want. Students graduating from top 15 schools will get offers that pay six figure salaries.

Students who go to a ranked MBA program that is not in the top 15 will get a nice bump in pay that makes the MBA worth while.

Students going to an unranked program are not likely to be able to increase their salary very much. For example, the average starting salary for someone graduating from UMass's MBA program (which is not a ranked MBA program) only makes about 60% of what someone from a top 15 program will make.

Many of the best MBA programs (MIT, Chicago, Duke, Stanford, Northwestern, Berkeley) are not in the Ivy League.

As for the Ivy -- Wharton is the best -- by far. Many people rank Harvard at the top -- but they don't even make my top ten. Dartmouth and Columbia make my top ten. Yale, Harvard and Cornell make my top 20 -- but not my top ten. Princeton and Brown do not have MBA programs.

Ivy? It helps, but research has showed that in the end it is the person that matters. If you take two of the same people, one who went to an Ivy and one who didn't they will do the same over time.

Job? Most of your money would be in finance. I-banking, private equity. But you are talking 100hrs a week there.

Getting into the higher paying fields takes a good resume, great networking, and spectacular interview skills. Much like that will smith movie.

you're asking in case you should take a job that pays between $40 and $one hundred funds an hour? you should extremely obsessed on operating a sign up. You dad sounds like he has some severe themes... or severe money. It is smart to no longer favor to be at living house each and each and every of the time. yet like you said, hi, it really is at maximum 2 hours an afternoon. then you could take that $one hundred you earned that day and flow inclusive of your pals to Starbucks. $one hundred must be sufficient to purchase espresso for round 5 human beings ;).
