I'm surprised that he considers menudo one of the worst palatable foods he has eaten, because it can be quite yummy, though at my local Mexican restaurant they overdo it with the hominy. The version he had was with beef hearts, though. Chicken hearts are great, but I don't know what beef hearts taste like. I would like to try the armadillo. Though it fits in as a "bizarre" food, I bet it's pretty tasty. So, I'd say menudo is my favorite of foods that I've eaten, and armadillo the one I'd most like to try.

I liked when he ate those long worms out of the tree trunks. I forget where it was but it was pretty gross.
