I have a preloaded vista laptop and a full XP installation disc from my last desktop. I want to create a dual boot.

I've read 3 or 4 tutorials saying I need to install XP first, and then Vista for their tutorials to work. The problem I have is I have the Vista IMAGE disc, not the OS installation. If I install it second, everything from the XP installation will be gone.

Anyone know of tutorials that explain this or can sum up the steps?

Thank you!
