so, my dad and mom got divorced 3 years ago. about 5 months ago, i found porn tapes in my dad's bedroom. what is goin on?

well, many men do like to watch porn - never gotten into it myself - but unless it is kiddy porn don't worry about it. Many couples watch that as well so it could have even been left over from when he was still married to your mother - or it could be why they divorced. don't worry about it unless it gets to the point where he is bringing home a different woman every night and even then you can still love your dad and hate the way he acts.

As long as he doesn't have a massive collection, don't worry about it too much. A lot of adults have porn and like to watch them occasionally. Just try to forget them and not let your dad know that you saw them or he may get embarrassed. If they were out in the open, like sitting on top of the dresser, then you may want to mention it to him, but if they were in a closet or a drawer, then don't say anything.

It might be the reason they got divorced. Or it might be something he just started doing. It is not a healthy sex life, and I wouldn't mess with it. Looking at porn has serious after affects that carry on in life in an unhealthy attitude towards the opposite sex. Relationships and intimacy is not all about sex. It is about friendship and relationship.

Stop snooping through your dad's things. This is probably a little TMI but you asked, like a lot of men who have the magazines and tapes/DVDs use it for titillation and stimulation.

It is a nasty habit, but he probably likes it. It has nothing to do with your parents getting divorced. It is not wrong of him since he is no longer married to your mother. If he has re-married someone else though, that is wrong.
