6 words, 23 letters, has a comma, last word is home. It is from a American movie that was originally black and white but has been remade as color. I THINK that is from The Wizard of Oz but I can't find a quote that will fit all of the clues. It could be from another movie.

I already thought of There's no place like home. However, that has only 21 letters. The quote that I am being asked to guess has 23 letters. Maybe it is not from Oz.

So far none of the answers you guys have given fit the clues. There are 23 letters not counting punctuation. There are SIX words.

For toodeermo: The person who gave the clues gave this as a clue: "Hint #3 Original movie was in B & W" However, she is NOT an expert on movies, and, BTW, neither am I! I am just seeking an answer.

It can't be "The Wizard of Oz"! Your information refers to"an American movie that was originally black and white but has been remade as color." Now, if it said that it was a film that starts and ends in b&w (actually, sepia) with color in the middle, it would be "TWOZ".

Also, "TWOZ" hasn't been remade but does have a sequel; I don't think that "Return to Oz" has the line the others give.

Besides, "There's no place like home." has only five words in it and 21 letters. If you include the apostrophe and the period, that makes 23 symbols.

I would think that this would have to come from another film. Or, the questioner is extremely in error.

So, that's what it isn't. But, nothing comes to my mind about an answer.

The Wizard of Oz was NOT originally in B&W and remade into color. The first twenty minutes or so are in B&W and then it goes to color when she opens the door in Oz after the tornado drops her on the witch. It has ALWAYS been that way. So if that is a clue, it is not from the Wizard of Oz.

EDIT FOR THUMBS DOWN:

So, you think the Wizard of Oz was originally in B&W then remade into a color movie? And you think you know something about movies? Oh wait. It wasnt made in the past six months, so how COULD you know anything about it?

"did you comprehend they took my gall bladder out? it is sitting in the scientific institution in a jar! that the place they save them i think..." it rather is from the movie Fried green Tomatoes, a quote by utilising omit Ninny Threadgoode. :) how weird and wonderful is it that that person ideal above me has a quote from a movie with "Tomatoes" in that subject matter? i did no longer think of movies approximately tomatoes have been that conventional! haha!

Everyone needs to quit saying, "There's no place like home" because it is only five words not six, there is no comma and that quote is not 23 letters long.

if you say 'there is no place like home', that is 6 words. now let's see how many letters there are.

i count only 22. if you count the period, that is 23. how about you youngun'? but there is no comma. so, i'm dead in the water, i guess.

"Oh, there's no place like home." sounds good, except that the Wizard of Oz was originally made in Sepia & Color, not black and white.

Dorothy says "there's no place like home" three times. Not sure if that's what you mean.
