assuming they right back
and i live in Illinois and the prison is in Lancaster california
i wrote to them 11/07/07
how long will it take for me to get the letter from them
are the the people at the prison gonna read the letter
not that it has anything bad but still just wondering?
and are they gonna read what they write back to me??

Figure on 10 days total so November 17 or so.

Well, if they're in for "Life"- it COULD be awhile... :) Alot depends on whether they're BIG on letter writing or not. IF they are, & Answer you right away, you should hear back from them- by Thanksgiving. (and the Prison Officials don't USUALLY read their Prisoners mail...-but I'd STILL be alittle "carefull" about what I said...-JUST in case.)

that depends on how long it takes for your friend to answer your letter. yes they will read your letter to him and yes they will read his letter to you. everyone going in and out of a prison is checked real good.

a few days after he writes back, if he writes back, and yes letters are opened in both directions.
