LOL I am ready for MORE snow! I live in central Alaska - winter set in several weeks ago. It's been really mild, but we don't have very much snow at all - and that's a BAD thing in a place that gets this cold. The snow insulates the ground - without it, the frost line will go deep enough to start freezing up plumbing. We really NEED more snow - quite a bit more - before the cold comes.

I moved to Utah several years back. Downtown Salt Lake. When I asked about the winters, my new employers told me the valley floor doesn't get much snow. BS! It snowed that year before Thanksgiving. Alot. It was beautiful but I hated it. What I did like though was seeing the looks on the people faces when I drove by. I have no problem driving in snow or on ice so I would freak the locals out when I blew by with California plates.

I love snow - which is a good thing because I live in Nebraska and we receive a TON of it every year. It's kind of late this year, however. It usually begins to snow in October here (snows from October to April), but the forecast for next week is looking promising! It's just beautiful to look out your window and see snow falling over the fields surrounding your house and to take a drive and see the whole world a glittering white beautiful sight! I love it!

A little bit of snow wont hear me this year.
The best time For it to snow is on Christmas Eve Night.
Lightly. And ofcourse on Christmas Day.
On Christmas Eve the look of glimering snow really sets
the scene for Christmas.

We don't get much snow, just mostly ice and I don't like that. I think a little snow is nice for the holidays, if it doesn't last long.

The perfect snow season would be about 2 inches on Christmas eve thru Christmas day, and have it all gone on the 26th.

No - I'm fine with cold & shorter days and everything else that comes with winter. I can handle all that. It's the snow and the ice and the frost that just make going anywhere and doing anything so much more difficult.
