Because people are stupid and can't figure stuff out. There are warning labels on things like hair dryers that say "don't use while asleep." Seriously.

Because if they didn't someone would surely sue the company for taking a pill and having it cause drowsiness.

In this litigious society, you have to warn idiots of everything or someone might just take sleeping pills and not think, oh, this is going to make me FALL ASLEEP.

cuz thats a sideeffect,i am a doctor so i have dealt with sleeping pills and lots of medicine it also says that because that means u may feel tired after u take the pill but that is common.
