I personally understand their concerns, but the videos and things they show about how animals are slaughtered are misleading. There may be a few that are wrong in how they do things, but The Government regulated processing plants. I was raised on a farm and still raise beef back home. Iwould not condone the type of treatment they show and let people believe happens regularly.

They lie about a lot of things.. They find one bad example and instead of targeting that one bad example, they state that the whole industry is that way..
People who donate them think they're helping little fluffy kittens and puppies.. If you donate to Peta, you need to do your research.. Peta isn't just anti-farm they're also anti-pet.. Their website even states that.. If anyone wants the links to see for themselves, let me know..

My opinion about PETA is that the organization, as a whole is a group of radical individuals who will use any means possible to get their opinions validated. If they(members) are so pro animal, I would think they would focus on the actual neglect occurring in some animal shelters more so than spending their time and energy spreading propaganda. The organization focuses on misrepresenting and distorting facts.
They are against the "abuse" of insects!! I'm sure those suffering from diseases such as Malaria are more than thrilled by their cause. When an organization has to scream and create public disturbances to get their message across, one has to wonder why? I'll tell you why, because they lack creditability. I am completely for the humane treatment of all animals. I have two animals myself and I love them dearly but would I push an elderly person or child down to grab the publics attention for ANY cause, NO I would not!! Members of this organization have and continue to do so in order to get a little attention in the media.

I'm more concerned about how people are treated. Although I don't condone ever hurting animals I believe that there are still far too many people on this planet that don't have human rights. That's where the focus should be.

I'm from a big hunting area and one year they dressed up in deer costumes and pranced through the woods during the first week of hunting season. They only stayed about an hour before they were discouraged, and probably scared, I know I would be terrified in a deer suit in the woods on the opening day of deer season. I love meat, deer jerky is delicious. :)

I'm with you, it's a good cause but there's a few radicals that just gotta take it too far and tarnish the whole lot.
