from a local supermarket. VONS.

If the machine charges you 89 cents for every $10.00 worth of coins (8.9%) that will leave you $26.70 after fees. Definitely worth it compared to rolling coins and going to the bank!

Go to the bank and ask for some coin tubes. They should give you some of the different denominations for free. Roll the coins at home and then take them back to the bank. They will not charge the 8.9% that coinstar does.....or....just take them to the coinstar machine and save the time you would have spent rolling them. Your choice....it's just nice to know the options.

They'll deduct $2.67. But, try your local bank, sometimes free service, usually much less than supermarket %.
