Unfortunately, I do believe that this is the case. We tried to leave the monarchy system behind by coming to America and creating a democracy. In theory the plan according to our Constitution was a good one if the people implementing it were truly honest, civil servants. When they became simply greedy politicians, and puppets of big corporations like oil companies and arms manufacturers, then the plan went awry. Thence, we have come full circle.

America is ruled by family dynasties but the elected Presidents are qualified under the Constitution.

Well generally, (excluding Clinton) only the wealthy and rich are allowed the slightest chance of running for a government office of any concerned. Usually you find someone who has a "dynasty". kennedy's, Reagan, Bush's. Well atleast currently it seems like that.
