How to find a doc that no longer practices here?

I need to find the doc that performed an operation on me 17 years ago, but no one has a clue as to where he's gone. From what I understand, he left this area over 15 years ago, and no one has heard from him since.

Try checking with the office manager if you haven't already because sometimes they know.

Also, try checking at the American Medical Association's website at: http://www.ama-assn.org in the Physician Finder section. You can search by name on the search listings and you may be able to find him that way.
