I have noticed that it has a middle eastern-African theme. I also saw that all of the screenshots I saw that had Dervishes and Paragons all depicted a somewhat African look character wise, (Facial features, skin colour, etc...) I was wondering if you could customize the dervish and paragon professions with caucasian features.

You can choose whatever skin color you prefer for your characters. A lot of the hair styles in NF are African based, but there are a few that look nice on pale white chars. (LOL, or you can always go bald). I have a female Dervish with long red hair that looks causacian. I made her skin darker, but not dark enough to look African. She just appears to have a nice tan.

I also have a pale blond elementalist with short blond hair. She is a NF native but looks like a white girl.

If you have just Nightfall, you'll likely be stuck with african and middle eastern looks. The facial features of a character are based on what campaign you create them in. So if you have Factions (which is an east asian theme) and Nightfall, you could make asian dervishes and middle eastern assassins.

For a Dervish or Paragon who is caucasian, you'd need Nightfall with either Prophesies (the original GW) or Eye to the North

You can start with any of the 1st 3 games as they are all independent of each other. If you're into a mix of PvP and PvE (player vs player and Player vs environmnet) Then the 1st game prophecies would probably be best for you as it has a good balance of both. If you're a PvP only then Factions would be the right campaign for you and finally, if you're mostly a PvE kinda person Nightfall would be the way to go. There is one other expansion called Eye of the North however to play that one you must already have one of the 1st 3 campaigns to play it. Once you've downloaded the software and opened your account with the CD key, all your information is stored at the server which allows you to DL the software to any computer and play your account from anywhere there's a computer available for you to play... My personal favorite is Nightfall but again, the campaign for you would be the one with the best mix of your preferred playing style. Enjoy!

Yes you can, with no problems.

The NPCs of Nightfall are mostly African or Middle-Easter, but you can make your character look like anything at all.

The skin colors range from really dark to basically white (as in the color of this page's background white) and lots of facial options abound. Most of the hair is a little ethnic though, but that isn't quite a big of deal.

yeah, you should be able to do that. In the character creation screen, you will be able to customize the characters face, hair, hair color, and skin color.
