Stay indoors, keep the windows *closed*, and keep an eye out for news reports--the idea is to wait until that flock left town for a warmer climate before going outside. O_O
Why? Because elephant dung can weigh what, 20 pounds or so? Per movement? I'm sorry, but if *that* is dropping from even five, six stories up, a steel umbrella and a crash helmet are *still* not going to protect you. And if one lands suddenly, forget about it, nothing this side of an armor-plated Hummer is going to cut it (hint: they weigh *TONS*, these elephants do).
So yeah, you have to do more than duck and cover on this one to be safe, *from impact issues*, never mind the stink. o_o
