If I were you I would forget that she exists.

I would say that if she's that repulsed by you, for whatever reason, it won't matter if you say anything and you're better off letting it go. Then again, I am a very passive person, and I would find her to be a waste of oxygen. What exactly do you think you did for her to hate you so bad? There must be a reason, it can't just be that she hates you for absolutely NO reason? What excatly did she say? Maybe she thinks you two are divorcing because you slept around or that your husband is perfect and you're just a wench for leaving him for no good reason? She has obviously formed a strong stench of an opinion of you and I would just let it be water under the bridge. Are you moving out of the house or is your husband? If you need to make peace for the simple fact that you will still be neighbors, tell her that you are sorry that she has such a problem with you but that you would just like to live your life in your home with no troubles from her. How strange.

They say the best revenge is living well.
There isn’t much you say with words to someone like that, But you can still be the best person you can be. Always take the high road, this bothers people of poor character more than any thing. I wrote something on here a while ago about resolving conflicts and I will write it again as an example of what I am trying to say to you.
One day, a long time ago, I had a problem with a neighbor.
On our side of the fence, we had several horses and on his side he had several cows.
The fence would get knocked down by these animals every once in a while.
The first few times our horses ended up on his side and he promptly had them hauled off to the impound with out even a phone call to us.. Then one morning, I woke up to find all his cows in my yard. I went over to his house knocked on his door and told him that his cows were over in my yard and I offered to help chase them back over to his side of the fence. I also offered to help repair the fence.
I think he would have been happier if I had them hauled off because it was revealed how much of a jerk he was. He never had the horses hauled off again. I hope this helps you.

I know what you mean, it would irk me, too. I wouldn't bother with acting any particular way other than to look through her if you happen to see her out. People like this are a little too dramatic for my tastes and the fact that she waited until she had an audience shows just what a drama queen she really is. If she approaches you again with any comment, ask her why she thinks you would care. You might add (if she hasn't already stormed off) that you have considered her comments, but you are only neighbors and it is not much cause for concern. Buh Bye!

It would irk me too. But, everyone who heard her knows what kind of a person she really is. Be your cordial self and do not let someone else's behavior determine what kind of person you are. Learn now, and learn fast, that others emotions should not affect you. In fact, you might just start praying for her. She needs God's blessings, and ask Him to help you to be strong from now on, and to show you how to continue to do the right thing.

She's already made herself look like an @ss in front of all those people so you really didn't need to say anything. It would irritate me too but if I were you I'd just let it drop....otherwise you could start a feud with your neighbor. And that would make living there even worse!

I know you're upset, but the only thing that could make her happier is to prove to the whole town that you are one to dislike. If you take the bait and start fighting back, all you're doing is feeding the flame. Your best comeback is on of compassionate disappointment that she feels so strongly about you. How difficult that must be. See, she can still eat your words, but you don't come off the jerk, she does. Good Luck!

It is just jealousy in that she loves your husband and dog but not you. Just tell her in front of everyone as well, "you want my husband, you can have him" Perhaps they even had a thing going that you didn't know about and she wants you to move and him to stay there to keep that going.
You can also tell her that you would have a battle of wits with her but you refuse to fight an unarmed person!!

I wouldn't back track now, I would just leave it be! Fuc her ! But when she initally told me, I would have told her (tactfully bc I am a lady!) that the feeling is mutual. But the difference btwn me and her is that as an adult I realize that you don't have to like everyone, and not everyone has to like me. But regardless anybody with class would respect others, its obvious she is lacking in that department, and that may be the reason she doesn't like me.I have class and she doesn't! Then I would have turned and walked away and never thought twice about it.

Don't let it bother you,she is so immature and rude for saying that to you. Is there any particular reason as to why she loves your husband and dog? Is there something going one between them?Maybe she dislikes you because she is jealous of you and your family, don't let something like this mess up your day.

Well as long as she was acting immature I would feel free too, and tell her that maybe she should be worried about her self because her man obviously didn't seem to like her too much...Tell her that people that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones...that should shut her up!
