I work at a beauty salon as a receptionist (hourly) but my boss said that she's not liable for what her independent contractors (the stylists) do . so basically she saysno one can sue her if they are paying her rent to use her space. isthat true, legally?? isnt she liable for whatever happens under the roof of her establishment? me n my co-workers are debating this, abnd we all think she's wrong. also she said that she's going to make evgeryone sign a contract stating that she's not liable. is this legal??

People can still sue her, and her having people sign a contract that she's not liable doesn't change that and is not binding on some injured party trying to sue her. In a lawsuit against the operator and the owner, the operator might end up more liable for an injury, depending on how and why it happened, but the owner would be wise to carry liability insurance also.
