You can use about anything on ceramic tile and granite, but do NOT use baking soda or anything abrasive on stainless steel unless it's the brushed steel finish unless you want to see every mark. I use Orange Glo on my granite and SS once they're clean - it shines them up and protects them from fingerprints (also works great on shower doors to clean & to keep soap scum off!) Contrary to popular belief, granite is one of the most forgiving surfaces out there - you really can't hurt it and you don't have to worry about having it re-sealed if you keep up w/the lemon oil/orange oil or the spray wax in a pink can (can't think of the name.....something gloss, which also is a good cleaner for both that and stainless steel)

try mixing baking soda and liquid hand soap so it is like toothpaste.

baking soda is a very good polish if supersaturated or non-liquid. it will not scratch or dull anything except soft plastic.

apply the above mixture with a soft brush.

a good homemade toothpaste which is free of the toxic element fluoride is to mix baking soda with a non-fluoride mouthwash. fluoride poisons the thyroid and makes you fat plus your hair will fall out.
