When he was the challenger, he had mic time and was great at it and he was actually able to win a match every now and then.
But ever since he became champ, he has only won one match. (He and Umaga vs Triple H the day after No Mercy).
And I don't think he's even gotten on the mic more than once or twice.
And, he's been superkicked nearly every week.
What do you think?

I agree. He was much better when chasing the title, but his reign was ruined the moment he was awarded the title.
They were building up Randy to take the title from Cena, which would have been HUGE for his career, him ending the longest title reign since the 80's would have put him mad over. Cena vacating the title due to injury made Randy seem like a cheap, second-rate champion.

I am NOT a Randy Orton fan, but he is still better than the wwe is letting him be. The wwe keeps saying they want people to step up and get better. But how can they? They all have to do what the worthless creative (I hate even saying creative for them) team tells them to do. And the creative team just can't come up with anything good. They are making more than JUST Orton look bad.

In my personal opinion, he's better as a challenger then he is as a champion. He just doesn't seem like a credible champion. His ********* and swagger make him a better challenger...a follower, then being followed.
I'm not the biggest Orton fan myself, but IMO he's better as a challenger than as the champion.

Well I guess HBK doesn't won't to put him over I dunno. hell I don't know they might make orton a champ like JBL barely escaping with the title by the skin of his teeth ,but JBL was atleast allowed to have some mic time. If orton drops the belt at SS his title run would be pointless ,but if he really pisses people off by retaining in bad was then it meant something.

He has the look to play the good bad guy. The one you want to hate cause he's acting like a jerk. He can wrestle, and I liked him better when he and Edge were a tag team. It is probably just part of Vince's' gimmick.

....umm personally i think its really funny that every week hes gotton the crap beat out of him i laugh when HBK does that to him....i think that orton sucks as champ and the WWE champion should go to someone more deserving....
I think that the only reasons people cheered for orton was because they were tired of cena being champ ...now all he gets is boo's...I think that A MAJORITY of the people who cheered for him 2 months ago when cena was champ hate him now...

I honestly don't like Orton anymore. I did like him, way before the feud with him and John Cena. But ever since that happened, he has not been a good person. This "Legend Killer" name I don't like ethier. They shouldn't have that. Cena was a loved Champion, and nobody is chanting for Orton now, so honestly...Why WWE made this ? I have no idea.
