Like...the way they breed cats with rabbits. Has there ever been a case where somone takes a human gene with one of our closest relatives of nature?

And acctually, yeah rabbits and cats are very closely related in DNA, it's possible to cross breed them.

The definition of the word "species" means that it can only breed with others within that same group. I've never heard of cats and rabbit breeding. Humans have common DNA with several species, but it doesn't mean they can breed. In fact, cats and rabbits don't even belong to the same order, let alone species so they can't interbreed. Cats belong to the order carnivora and rabbits belong to lagomorpha. There are certain species that are able to interbreed like donkeys with horses or dogs with wolves, but to answer your question, no, there are no cases of humans being bred with other species.

sorry...no one breeds cats and rabbits..completely different species, different number of chromosomes...and not possible. Most species cannot be bred with other species..DNA is just not compatible. SOME animals that are very closely related, and have the SAME number of chromosomes can be hybridized..such as lions and tigers=ligers or tigons, a horse and a donkey=mule, etc.

Edit: Cabbits are a myth..no such thing:
