I love my grandmother's recipe for apple cake or loaf bread. It gets more moist as the days go by.

Before she passed she made us grandchildren a recipe book where she had hand written each recipe that she knew we liked as children while spending time with her on their farm. She added little stories about things we did, trips in the woods looking for persimmon trees or sassafras's roots. Then mixed the stories with the recipes and photocopied them for each of us and placed in a binder notebook.
AAAnyway...her apple bread was great!

I like a good old fashioned banana bread. With crushed nuts
and little chunks of bananas in the mix. I've tried it with raisens
too, and that's really tasty.
A close second is zuchini bread. It's been a long time since
I grew some and made it fresh. I don't bake anymore. Just
because if it's around, I'll want to eat it LOL. And I don't
need to at all LOL.

That would have to be Pumpkin Bread. I make mini loafs every year at Christmas time and give them away as Christmas gifts, that is all except for one, in which I eat it myself. Love that Pumpkin Bread and can't wait until it is that time to make it again.

For vegetables, a good, crusty Italian bread.

For fruits, you can't beat a good slice of banana bread with walnuts.
