We get bored really eaisly. We are both 13 year old girls and we are both straight (so please don't suggest anything perverted like I see in other questions). The computer could be an option (but nothing bad and no myspace, computer time is limited as well), we don't want to burn the house down (cooking), and we aren't really into sports too much (we both did play softball in elementary school). So what can we do? Thanks to anyone who answers!

Since you don't indicate the general area where you live, its a difficult thing to answer. What community resources are there in your area? Do you have a drama club in school? You could volunteer at a local hospital or as aides to help little kids, grades 1-5, with their homework. Start a peer tutoring club at your school. Does your local library have weekend programs? What about your local historical society? How about church groups? Depending on where you live, there may be tons of stuff for you to do or, if you live in the proverbial boondocks, there could be very little. Think about what you like to do and look for ways to do it. Use your imagination. Make crafts and sell them at craft shows. With Christmas coming you could pick up a few extra bucks. Good luck.

Head over to your local craft store and see if there is something both of you are interested in learning (jewelry making, crochet, knitting, scrapbooking, etc). The fun part would be teaching yourselves how to figure stuff out. Plus, craft stores have small kits that you can buy and would be a good evening fun activity.

Does your friend write as well as you? If so, you could make up a funny play and put it on for your parents, if they will watch. Or come up with a skit for the next pep rally at school. Our school used to let anyone do a skit as long as it was appropriate. Or google some non-messy magic tricks and practice them all night.

Go buy a big blank canvas from Hobby Lobby and some oil paints and brushes..and have yourselves a painting party! You could do something abstract to keep it really fun..like splattering paint on the canvas.
