Christmas usually starts in july for qvc and some of the stores. and when you start to here about Halloween, you can pretty much consider it holiday season from then until after new years.

For me it starts the day after Thanksgiving. I guess I am a bit traditional but I'd like to get through one major family event before planning the next one.

For me, probably shortly before Thanksgiving gets here. What gets me also is when the networks start running Home Alone around Thanksgiving.
