i personally can't stand to sit there and let these ppl objectify women like that! in this music video i saw, this guy is sliding a credit card thru a woman's butt crack! is it just me or is the world of singing and music coming to an end? i'm only 14 but i believe that the "showmen of our time" are barry manilow and tony bennet, who sing about things TRUE whereas 50 cent and kanye sing about getting rich and slapping the ho. am i right? if you can find any internet articles too, that would be great =) thanks. best answer = 10 points!

i personally agree with you. Rap and hiphop, i find are very loud and obnoxious..not all are like that, but most of all. I listen to country music. Now, i know it may sound dorky..but not all country is all like "billy joe..la la la...." u know..listen to it..its very christian..very good, sometimes even a little funny. Here are a few you may like:
1.Taylor Swift
2.Reba Mc Entire
3.Sugarland
4.Brad Paisley
5. Keith Urban
...they are all good. You might think im just one of those teenagers born in the country.
But i was born and raised in the city...i luv country music and if you give it a try..u might like it yourself!

i've got self assurance an analogous way approximately rap that I consistently have. there's a lot of stupid songs. there is likewise a lot of high quality songs. you will no longer be able to generalize an entire track style by utilising the few rappers you hear on the radio. in case you do unlike that form of track then turn off the radio and bypass hear to hip hop you may relate to, because of the fact there are rap songs approximately each and every thing.

im 15.im a male. i can honestly say i cant stand hip hop. it degrades women,it makes it seem like shooting poeple are cool, they brag about their money, its all about sexual themes i mean who can like it. when they brag their actualy saying their better then you but poeple go out and buy their stuff. i like music that has a meaning or point not just.''i have a new ho and more money than you and ill shoot you'' i agree with you 100%

I used to but anymore i don't, it just gets on my nerves. Before their were good singers, any more its all the same and their are to many wanna bees out there. But people would probably argue about it cause, rap is mostly music you hear on the radio anymore.

I like the beauty of hip hop.. esp. when it has great beats!
old school hip hop is cool~ ^^
and I do hate the fact that women are degraded..

You should listen to Common, he's smart, sophisticated and his lyrics actually mean something
