Lately my periods have been getting later and later each month. I've always been irregular before but recently i've been pretty regular exept for the fact that i have been getting it later and later each month. During the month of October i did not get it at all exept for some brown discharge, i took a pregnancy test and i'm not pregnant. I'm some what concerned because although i've been very irregular before i havent been for atleast 6 months. I also have hypothyroid which resulted in me having polysistic ovary sindrome about two years ago. I was on a 6 month treatment and things were fine. i was still a little rirergular but nothing serious (like going mnths and months wihtout a period like i was before the treatment) Should i worry??? did this happen to anyone else besides me????

First let me quantify a couple of things for you.
Remember everyone is different.
Many times fibroid cysts can be a cause as well as other issues. All the time remembering that not all women can set there clock by there cycles and on the other hand others can.
When there is a major change in your cycle, consult your OBGYN and have them run a few tests. Be through when explaining and do not leave anything out.
In some instances a cone procedure can help and in other cases depending on test results a DNC and on the radical side a Hysterectomy

ya know what? I work in OB and GYN ......... this can be due to many many things in your life that cannot really be determined without an exam........ the brown discharge is actually a good sign in a way because it is just blood and so you know that things are still working but obviously not in the way it is designed to work. I would really strongly suggest that you go and see the doctor that you have seen before......... even maybe just put in a call to him/her to get a feel for what they think since they know your medical history..... sorry I could not help you more.... do not sit and worry yourself though.... just go get it checked out hon..... you gotta take care of yourself!

Have you been getting really tired as well? Get a blood test done. I lost my period too, and was very tired all the time. My GP sent me to get a blood test and it turned out I was low in iron and a few other minerals. I had to drink Staminade every 2 hours for a week then I was right as rain! Best of luck to you

unquestionably. medical doctors use this methodology each and all of the time to help women people get pregnant that have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). the start administration will alter your cycle and improve your progesterone stages. while getting off of the start administration, there are much less cysts and the progesterone stages are greater with a view to hold a being pregnant to term. i visit a fertility professional and it rather is what they're doing to me.

See your doctor. With your medical history you need to be careful and asking people on Yahoo to help you with something this serious is foolish. GO TO THE DOCTOR!

go back to GP, make a note of all that has happen, still happening, make a daily diary, take your notes to GP, let him read them you may need another smear test, get that done, accept your GP'S treatment, medications he prescribes, if after this prescribed treatment, you are having the same symptoms then go back, again, dont be afraid to go as many times as you want, they get paid to treat you, as i said go back tell him/her " i feel no better, or feel no different, despite what you have done for me, so far i would like a second opinion please, then let the specialist you are refered to do his investigations good luck, and i hope it gets resolved soon for you for you must feel uncomfortable most of the time.

i think that before you ask a question like this online, and get urself even more worried... consult a doctor... and don't worry so much until there is an actual reason too...
take care!
