No one is responsible. Not even God or the Devil. It's an act of nature. I some ways it's an act of stupidity. Let me site some examples. In Southern California the hills & area anually prone to dangerous wildfire. We've seen it happen before, whole nighborhoods burned to the ground. Yet people continue to build in these danger regions thinking it will never happen to them. The following year wildfire season arrives & the wonder why their home is going up in flames.

In the mid west, how many times haw we seen flooding on TV. Entire towns wiped out. Yet people refuse to leave, they rebuild in an area the will obviously get devistated again.

So if you want to blame someone or something, blame hums stupidity for setteling in danger zones, & ignoring obvious signs in nature that these disasters occur here over & over again.

Natural disaster are caused by nature. Some of the effects of storms and floods are influenced by what humans have done to the planet but for most part natural disasters are just business as usual. Humans are affected so much because we don´t respect nature. Why put up megacities in earthquake/hurricane prone areas?

You will get all kinds of answers to this but from the biblical view, when satan was tempting Christ he offered all the kingdoms of the world if he would worship him, this and other scriptures say woe to the earth for Satan was cast down to her and has a short time to mislead all the inhabitants of earth so the world lays in the hands of the devil and he has control over it for now. Read your bible and judge for yourself. I for one believe we are in the last days and Satan is doing all he can, to stop people from seeing the truth, Also look to what the sign would be of Christs return [First 4 books of new testament], and what would happen on earth and all in one generation,Wars, famine, disasters, love of money instead of family and much more as a sign we are living in the end times It will get worse before it gets better so read and prepare and except Christ to be forgiven and have a chance to see this to the end.So yes God gave Satan free range but it is only for a short time. I know which side i want to be on.

God has nothing to do with it, nor does the devil. It is Nature pure and simple, Neither God nor the devil creates the weather. It is a natural occurring phenomenon cuaesd by the earths rotation and the moons gravitational pull. Most diseases are caused by microscopic bacteria that learns to adapt and mutate to get around the vaccines that man creates thus we go from a simple littler flu bug that gives you a slight fever to super killer viruses that kill millions.
Again God and the devil have nothing to do with it.

Nobody's "responsible" for any of those things... They would occur NATURALLY- if we existed- or not!!! So it has NOTHING to do with God or the Devil... It's just about people "getting in the way" of Nature's Processes... And Nature DOESN'T discriminate over who gets in her "Way..." If you're in the Wrong place at the Wrong time- all the Prayers in the WORLD- aren't going to save you! :0

If you're asking such a question, are you really looking for an honest scientific answer? I do believe that you've already made up your mind.
