::sigh:: let God work on her heart. i can only encourage you to be a good friend to her. :-)

Why should it matter to you ? You say she's an "old" friend, so I'm assuming that her bisexuality may have caused you stop being her friend ? A leopard cannot change it's spots dear. If she plays on both sides of the fence, you'll just have to accept it, or continue to be a bigot and cut her off. If she was a good friend, and only her sexuality was the issue, it is YOU that has the problem, not her.

Serious? O.K. People like you frustrate the hell out of me... I'm guessing you're a Christian who sees Brittnee's bisexuality as the ultimate sin? Well, I say kudos to her and you can't change her... if you don't like it, too bad. Besides, does it affect you? Didn't think so, so how about you learn to live with it, or better still, place yourself in her shoes if you can. Besides, if you really view her as a friend it shouldn't bother you - you ought to be happy that she is happy.

No. You can't.

Orientation is innate. You don't even think about it, it just comes naturally. I'm going to assume you're straight. Has anyone ever asked you HOW do you know you're straight? If they did, what would you say? You'd probably just say you "just know" because you like guys or whatever.

Same goes for your friend. She'll always be bi. Even if she's with a guy, it won't change her past attractions that may have been to a girl. For her, to claim heterosexuality would be like erasing a part of her life, her past, and her relationships. It would be like trying to predict the future, and no one can do that either.

Friends shouldn't try to control other friends. You can't change other people, you can only change yourself. I'd start with your attitude toward bisexuality and homosexuality. Just my opinion.

No there's not. It seems like you don't want to hear that, but sorry sweetie, you're gonna have to live with it. It's not something people choose, it's just natural. If she's bi, she can choose to be with a man or a woman, but I hope if she chooses to be with a woman you'll still be her friend.

I'm lesbian, and there's no amount of hot men or anything else that will make me any different.

The desire to change is the desire to control.

You can't actually be a true friend if you're trying to control someone.

Maybe Brittnee needs better friends who accept her for who she is.

Nope.
She will go back to heteresexual, if she in fact is.
Maybe never will and just lead on becoming a lesbian.
you might be afraid of this. btu she is your friend is she not?
allow her to explore her sexuality. and if she is meant to be heterosexual, she will go back. if not. tahts her decision
one should not impose our views on otehrs decisions if we are true friends one must accept what they are doing.

No. The only thing you can do is be a true friend and accept her for who she is, or be a good person, and exit her life, because you will only bring it down.

don't be so close-minded. you can't "get someone to be heterosexual". they're straight or they aren't. (or both.) and there's nothing you can do to make them change their mind because they don't have a choice! it's like, if you were in a house full of lesbians would you let them make you lesbian? no, cause you're straight.

serious questions deserve serious answers!
No you cannot change her like has been said before, just accept her for who she is! If you cannot do that, then leave her alone!

Why would you NEED her to be heterosexual??

You cannot change people... people can only change themselves... and only if they REALLY want to change.

However, in terms of one's sexuality -- people don't generally "choose" to be attracted to one gender or another, they just are.
