x = 1st, x + 2 = 2nd, x + 4 = 3rd

1st integer:
3x + 2(x + 2) = 6(x + 4)
3x + 2x + 4 = 6x + 24
x = - 20

2nd integer:
= - 20 + 2
= - 18

3rd integer:
= - 20 + 4
= - 16

Answer: the consecutive integers are - 20, - 18 & - 16.

Proof:
3(- 20) + 2(- 18) = 6(- 16)
- 60 - 36 = - 96
- 96 = - 96

The equation is:

3x+2(x+2)=6(x+4)

I didn't solve it becuase I assume its the words you had a problem with, not the math.
