So do you even have a clue as to who would do a better job or are you still squabbling over the Republican, Democrat thing?

Sway very true. Our government is absolute crap and a Conservative one wouldn't do any better but at least I can admit it.

You see in Britain we don't stand up for our crap governments and let them hide behind us when they do wrong. We pull them to pieces and let them know what we think of them. The problem is your government is calling the shots allover the world. Our idiotic government just poodles along at George Bush's side and nods it's head in approval of it's demented master.

Wider Scope there is no point dealing with the puppet when it is the puppet master that pulls his strings.

No, not the best - but not the worst, either.
Who would do a better job? That is an excellent question. Unfortunately, I'm not really thrilled about anyone currently running. I suspect the people who truly could do the best job are too sane to ever put themselves through that kind of scrutiny and media attacks.
Edit - So Blair was Bush's "poodle", and now you're saying the government still is, without Blair....do you mind if I ask, politely, what it is you do for a living? I'm not trying to be hateful, but I'm really curious. Do you think you could do a better job? I know I couldn't - I wouldn't ever WANT the job. I'm trying to understand why it is that you are so very certain that you know more than the combined governments of two countries. And again, I am not trying to be snarky - but that's a lot of people who are extremely successful in their political careers, obviously - do you think perhaps they might know a little more about things?

Based upon your own remarks, perhaps you should get off here and start pulling your own idiotic government apart.
While we keep on keeping on.

I wish we had something similar to your vote of no confidence because then Bush would have been long gone. As you see from some of the xenophobic remarks, some people here are not very open minded and that narrowness of thinking is one of our greatest problems. We will, however, persevere.
One good thing about Bush’s presidency is that the voters are now awakened to the fact that they can’t let something like this happen again.

Is this administration the best. Not by a long shot. Bush is the 46th President of the US. Have their been better Presidents than Bush, yes. Have their been worse. I am sure that I could find one or two (Andrew Jackson comes to mind)

It's better than any administration we've had since Reagan. Democrats will do nothing to fight the radical Islamics that want to kill us in the name of "allah". Thus far all they can do is blame Bush and America for everything. Republicans will fight to keep us safe and free.

The best in American history? Probably not but at least they arent afraid to confront evil rather than ignore it in hope that it will go away.
Lets put it this way, definitely the best of the options given to us in 2000 and 2004

Every Administration is challenged in different ways and meets those challenges accordingly. I think our current one did a good job of reversing the 'recession' folks were crying about as well as achieving the objectives of the "Iraq Liberation Act" the previous one got approved by congress.
Where this Administration fails is in obeying the Constitutional mandate to secure the borders and repel invasion. Congress gets a black mark on this too.

True, it isn't the best. But it is the worse. Anyone could do a better job. It will be a tough endeavor for whomever follows Bush to clean up the mess he and Cheney will be leaving.
