Not anymore, but I was when I was married and had children. I had things arranged the way I wanted them and strangers were not welcome. Now that I'm retired I only go into the kitchen to get something out of the refrigerator. I've lived in this place for 7 years and I've never used the stove. This is why they invented the microwave. I was a rotten cook anyhow. I never had trouble getting my kids to strike out on their own. They couldnt wait to get away from my cooking.There was a method to my madness.

Yes. I don't like anyone else in my kitchen when I'm cooking. My mom wants so badly to help me when I'm getting Thanksgiving dinner ready but it's MY kitchen and I would just rather not have anyone else in there with me. Besides, with her, she's a guest, so after all she's done for me in my life I figure it's time for me to take care of her.

I cant be. I can not go into my kitchen without 2 cats and 2 dogs following me. Then there is the elf! Pshh... I have a full entourage!

Yes, I hate when people try to add this and that to my recipes. If you want to add something, then you cook the damn food. My kitchen, my recipes, my rules! I do 95% of the cooking in my house and have sold a few recipes to local restaurants.
