I bought an ipod from my friend and don't know if it was stolen

if it didn't come in the i Pod box then it is stolen. but who cares? you bought it from your friend and it's not like you knew.

bypass to the police/ or Apple. you may finally end up getting an more suitable reward for locating it, because of the fact it became no longer your fault. most of the time Apple provides you with a loose iPod on your problems. a business enterprise appreciates you reporting stolen textile, its rather effective. in case you do no longer bypass to the Apple shop, on your concerns, then you rather may be in criminal situation, on the grounds which you own the stolen iPod they have no way of understanding no count number in case you stole it or no longer :)

you will find out real fast when you try to registered on the computer!!!
because the number is registered with the manufacturer and has to match the email address and in many cases the credit card too!!!

I would think it would be hard, to steal an IPOD, because they usually keep those locked up, and only certain people have the key. But, you never know ask him for the receipt. Although, he may not have it anymore.

wow...! it´s a little bit hard to know if your iPod has been stolen... so... maybe you must ask your friend when did he get that iPod... salutes...!!! xD

Why don't you try talking to him about it. If you feel that bad that you're asking online you should definitely do the right thing by asking. If he's your real friend, he will tell you the truth.

well does it have all the parts to it and original box.
if not it might be stolen.
i think you should provide more information to get a better answer.
