Yes, that was proven wrong. Even the U.N.'s global waming committee(IPCC) agrees the seas won't rise by more than 2 feet.
That just one of over ten items from Gore's that was proven wrong. Many English schools are now forbidden from playing "An Inconvenient Truth" in classrooms. There are over 10 misleading mistakes in the movie and most of the "mistakes" look like they were put in the movie on purpose.

It would be the equivalent of saying that - If you pour a teaspoon of water into an empty 5 gallon bucket, it will overflow.
Impossible, doesn't pass the common sense test.
Edit: For Anne Coulter's Nemesis.
Ice and glaciers come and go.The climate, on a global scale, is always changing, although usually not at a rate fast enough for people to notice.
There have been many warm periods, such as when the dinosaurs lived (about 100 million years ago) and many cold periods, such as the last ice age of about 18,000 years ago.
During the last ice age much of the northern hemisphere was covered in ice and glaciers, they covered nearly all of Canada, much of northern Asia and Europe, and extended well into the United States.
SO yes the ice will eventually melt, everyone will die and then another ice age will follow, followed by more life. It's a cycle which repeats.

Who said it would rise that quickly? No one that I've heard.
EDIT - You're changing the focus of the question, No one, not even Gore in An Inconvenient Truth, has predicted a 20 foot sea level rise in 32 years.

Sure we'll apologize and I'm sure all the scientists that back the facts up on global warming would too. Just as long as you and people like you make sure you are 10 feet into the ocean when that tide does rise. You guys have a death wish anyway so you would be doing everyone including yourselves a favor. We're tired of your denials and we don't have to tell you "I told you so" when it happens. Just like we did when Bush decided to attack Iraq. I told you he lied, I told you it was about oil and not terrorism and 9/11. I told you Saddam didn't have any WMD's, I told you that Al Qaeda wasn't in Iraq until well after we invaded. Etc. etc. It seems that liberals (and scientists) have a far better track record of being right on the issues than you cons do. Global Warming is a fact. It seems that you cons can't quite grasp facts.
Water conditions are sinking in the great lakes because of drought conditions and over usage. Lake Superior was 'drained' somewhat to keep Lake Michigan's water level up for shipping this last year. As a result of the drought and the water given up for Lake Michigan, Lake Superior was at almost record lows until the recent heavy rains and the recent stopping of the drain.
EDIT: The pimp money is coming from the oil and coal industry paying off corrupt scientists to oppose the scientists that have studied global warming and know it is happening. The fact that you pick the oil industry science over legit science just adds to the lack of integrity of your argument.

this is what I do not get... Take a large chunk of ice and put it in a glass. Fill the glass with water. when the ice melts it still will not overflow the glass. Last time I checked when Ice melts it contracts and takes up LESS volume when melted. Also, the environmentalists are complaining about receding water levels in the great lakes. What gives is the water rising or falling? Make up your mind.

What international warming alarmists regularly declare is that tsunamis are worsened by potential of AGW by using fact it led to sea ranges to upward push. this is nonsense like maximum of their claims. Now one among them claims there is not any such factor as international warming alarmists. it quite is between the silliest claims yet. notice: To maximum suitable suited the assertion that tsunamis are led to by potential of earthquakes: in basic terms some are led to by potential of earthquakes. some are led to by potential of landslides. One may be led to by potential of an asteroid impression on the sea and so on.

No. In the first place, no one has made such a prediction. The HYPOTHESIS is that melting of icecaps equabalent to the mas of ice on the Greenland icecap could occur within this century, possibly less. If that occurs, it would result in a sea level rise of about 20 feet.
It's only the people so ignorant they don't even know what the word "hypothesis" means who call that a "prediction." But what do you expect. The so-caled "skeptics" still think they can "debate" established facts. No one takes them seriously--and never will.

If it puts both BushWorlds underwater I can live with it. That would be Florida, which elected him the first time by the Supreme Court, and Texas, which brought him to power after failing at everything else he ever tried to do.
