1937, North Carolina, Raised by my grandparents, thought my mother was my sister until I was 7 years old. My uncles, where thought of as brothers. 6 of them. End of the Great Depression, beginning of WW II, Everything about my early childhood, so much love. Don't relate to that term in the context of my life at that time. The boy's that went to war were my hero's. Much to admire about the sacrifice their parents made, and the way they dealt with it. Retired livening in Indonesia, today celebrating 19 years of marriage. Of course, Wasted a lot of my life, addicted to Drug/Alcohol. but had to be there to get here. Had three boys, one was murdered, two left wonderful men, Five grand children, 3 girls, and two boys. Two step son's here in Indonesia, one grand child. So many proud moment, still experiencing them, can't say.
