should the driving age [which is 16 here in new york] be lowered or remain the same? what do you think.
tell why.

i dont want stuff like
"YES! its to long of a wait! 16 is to high! i could drive now! "

thats not a great reason why.
you're just anxious.
i wouldnt trust you in a car.

im sorry, but when i searched resolved questions that are similar, that was a common answer.

I absolutely do NOT think they should lower the driving age. If anything they should raise it to 18. People who are 16 are just not responsible enough to be driving on the roads.

The driving age should be raised to at least 18. Kids under the age of 18 with licenses just don't comprehend the amount danger that there can be on the streets. They all think that they're invincible, they think it's cool to drive 120 mph on the freeway, and they think that they're fitting in when they're violating the street laws.

Razmig is right in my opinion...sadly.

Too many incidents of poor judgment for those under 18.
Hell - too many thimble-wits OVER 18 driving without a clue, but you have to start somewhere.

I'm not sure.... Maybe they should do something that depends on the persons GPA, but if they aren't in school...
