My moms been really sad lately, she hates her job and is working on finding a new one. Her boss is really mean to her, and doesn't include her in things she should be included in, but she doesn't stand up for herself, in fear of loosing her job. I told her to just quit but she cant because she needs to find another job first. Shes always sad, and it makes me sad to. I just want a way that I could help cheer her up or make her look at work in a different way so shes not as miserable everyday.

I'm glad you care sop much about your mom.She had you,she raised you and she DOESN'T deserve this.NONE of it.
You should make her a cake or a breakfast in bed.Clean up around the house so she doesn't have to deal with it.Find a time when she is all alone, lying in bed reading, then come up to her and ask to join her.Seem happy and stuff. If you get allowance and you have any brothers or sisters, tell them not to work for allowance.Trust me,your mom will be happy.

Tell her you love her in different ways. One day, bake her a cake. Another day write a little note in the lunch she takes to work. Another day, make her a hot cup of tea, just because. Sometimes when life is balanced out with good things, the bad stuff is not overbearing. You can make it better by being the wonderful kid you are. Hugs are healing. Encourage her to find another job and tell her she's good, she's wonderful, she's awesome. Because you know she is. She needs to really know that too in herself. Sometimes we moms don't see how much our kids need us to be happy. Your mom is super special to work at a job she is struggling with to pay the bills at home. What a super special mom you have.

Aw, thats sad I'm sorry for you and your mom. What you can do is remember thing that she really likes, like if she enjoys hiking, going to the beach, picnics certain flowers, have a girls night with her go to lunch/dinner/breakfeast. Then go somewhere realyl peaceful and fun like a big park, maybe make her breakfeast in bed. Compliment her outfit and or hair ect. but dont over do it. Always encourage your mom instead of saying "This sucks" say something like "Don't worry it will work and and it will defanatley get better" thats wahat I do and I can see huge improvements in my friends attitudes. I hope I helped a little.

P.S. Helping around the house cuold help her feel better too, and let her know that you're always there for her.

She can seek legal help; it seems that her boss is making the work environment a hostile place to work in. Hey this is a case that a lawyer might be interested in or find information on you local employment commission. Give her positive remarks and keep her smiling. She can pretend that the work environment is not bothering her, this can make her boss get upset because your mom will no longer seem to be bothered by his careless and unprofessional attitude. Still, he just might be trying to force your mom out of a job.

Just be yourself. Your mom is having a rough time but just be patient. She will come back to her old self just show her you love her. When I'm feeling sad my son always makes me feel better by showing me he loves me. You know just a hug or a kind word makes a world of difference. So say a prayer for her and show her you love her. Then give her a little time it will work out. Pray she will find another job God want let you down...

I think you are so caring. I hope and pray my kids are just as thoughtful when they are older. I say clean up around the house and depending on your age cook dinner or fix sandwiches. When she gets off of work the last thing she wants to do is clean and cook. And make good grades in school that always puts a smile on a parents face!!
