Tom Dempsey and Jason Elam are actually tied for the record. Sebastian Janokowski attempted a 66 yarder and would have been good from 70 if he had just kicked it more accuratley. But anyway Tom and Jason are tied. Tom had like a brick for a foot he was born with a defect.

jason elam becasue tom dempsey did it with the field goal in the front of the endzone, which is a different distance, so he musttve been on the yardline, 63 yards away. so the rules are different? i guess. im not sure

Do the math! 63,63, is a tie. Janokowski never "made" a 64 yarder. But IF he did, that would be farther then, would'nt it now?
