Old built up grease is a perfect medium for house flies to lay their eggs.....maggots....hatch from those eggs and then turn into adult flies.
You need to take down the hood and all the fan assembly and douse it in bleach, or lest oil, or something that will both remove years of built up grease and fly eggs and maggots!
Also, to cut down on the flies outside your home, log onto a site,.
I.P.M. Labs.com or maybe .org. anyhow they sell natural predators that Parasitise the maggots of house flies and cut the volume of flies to almost zero with out pesticides!!!!

The hood should have a screen to prevent pests from entering your house. It sounds as though the screen has been removed.

Ideally the hood is vented through the roof, but it may be vented into the attic. You can check there.

Boric acid powder,Dusts. Blow dirt into cracks and crevices or gently spread it in parts the position seen residues are literally not a topic and the position human beings received't contact it. get rid of kick panels on fridges and stoves and keep on with a elementary movie of dirt via the total section below those living house equipment. a skinny movie of dirt is extra helpful than a thick layer. Holes that are a similar length because the end of a gasp-form applicator will be drilled into the proper of kick panels below cabinets and powder will be utilized via the holes to those parts besides as below the sink, contained in the lifeless area between the sink and wall, and round application pipes. also take care of alongside the again edges and in corners of cabinets in cabinets, cabinets, pantries, and closets. Boric acid powder does no longer decompose and is helpful for see you later through the indisputable fact that is left in position, if it remains dry. Formulated as an insecticide, boric acid dusts frequently contain about a million% of an additive that stops the powder from caking and improves dusting homes. If it receives moist and then dries and brownies, it loses its electrostatic charge and is no longer picked up easily through the cockroach. If this takes position, reapply powder to those parts. I absolutely have tried this and that is offered cheeply contained in the 99cents purely shops. it extremely works!
