You'd be amazed at all the new and "gently used" clothing I find in thrift stores and consignment shops.
My favorite $10 purchase was a tailored wool winter coat from Ireland. I get compliments everywhere I go.
Once items have been on the rack for a few weeks, they are discounted down by 50%, sometimes 75% off the price, and some stores have a Saturday when all jeans go for $1 whether Levi's or Designer's Brands or the "worn look"
Just yesterday I brought home a really cute new knit shirt for $2.

Well i live in LA and there are a lot of random little boutiques that i enjoy shopping at. I love shoping at all the store on melrose. As for name brand store, i like Guess, Miss sixty, Betsy Johnson, forever 21, Rampage on occasion, urban outfitters, H&M, Macy's (has a little bit of everything).

i really like american eagle cus then you dont even have to go in the store to find what u like, cus the website has a button when u find the shirt u like, u clickie on locate item in store, pick the color u like, the size, and type in ur zipcode and wahlaa there u go, it gives you the closet stores near you =D Also, their clothes are really cute as well, and unlike Abercrombie, and Hollister, you dont have to be very skinny to fit into them =D

that is a good question.........the stores i shop @ are Pacsun, they have hella cute cloths there including purses, PJs, shoes and other acccessories............also try American Eagle.........Ground Zero..........abercrombie...........Gap............holliester.........and .....Tillys......hope this helps
