I love living with my boyfriend of 5 years. It's been great because we have a partial long-distance relationship. I go to college in another city and during breaks I stay with him and work full time. That way we get a chance to miss each other. It feels very homey in our place - family-like. We even have a dog together! So keep yourselves busy doing things that don't involve each other all the time, set some ground rules that you both can live by, assign chores, decorate, paint the walls...either way, make it fun. Good luck to you if you move in with your significant other.

Personally, I don't really believe in marriage. People change, so to promise that you will spend the rest of your life with one person is most often unrealistic, because you can't really predict that in 50 years you will still be head over heals in love with them. If you love someone and they love you, you should be with them for as long as the two of you are happy together. If you do decide to get married, I definately think you should live with them for several years before doing so.

I have done both, I think if you move in with someone that one of the parties loves the other allot more. I think if you love each other equally you would both be willing to take the plunge and get married.

Even though religion says you shouldn't... I think it's almost necessary to determine 1) if you can stand to be around them for a while and 2) how well sexually you will get along.

I would never, move in, or marry a "significant other."
If that is the best description, you can come up with, to
describe, the one you "love."
