I love Oh Holy Night (Cantique de Noel), it sends shivers down my spine when it's sung well.

I also love silent night. It's just such a gorgeous song.

I like all Christmas carols; some seem to have fallen into disfavor, though, like "Angels From the Realms of Glory," "We Three Kings" and "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen."

Most holiday songs I could do without, but I do especially like Snoopy and the Red Baron Christmas version and Christmas Time Is Here with the Chipmunks.

Little Drummer Boy is OK, and all the OLD Christmas (Excuse me, politically correct version is Holiday Songs) tunes I really like.

Some other classics you hardly hear anymore include Tannenbaum, Patapan and Holly and the Ivy.

I thing "Grandma got run over by a Reindeer" is funnyest.

And "Silent Night" is the best heart warmer!!!

And "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" is the most fun to sing.

...and THIS one is for YOU!!!
(sung to the tune of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen")...

God bless you Daisey MAE
Let nothing you disMAY.
This May you had an awful month,
So what is there to SAY

Let's hope next May is better;
'nd good things'll come your WAY!
And you won't have a feeling of disMAY,
...Next MAY!

Micheal ;-)

PS: You must be Canadian. So am I, and we seem to love Christmas more than Yanks do.
My American wife is focused on the US Thanksgiving, but like you, and most Canadians, I feel Christmas is in the air!!!

Merry Christmas!
HO HO HO
